MEET LIISA
Where it all started …
My journey began in live television, where I’ve spent over 32 years as a producer and director, helping people shine on camera and stay calm under pressure.
But what I also loved was helping people feel confident, composed, and completely themselves - whether in front of a camera or walking into everyday moments in their lives.

While producing segments on a top-rated national lifestyle show, I explored stories about building social confidence, and I kept coming back to one often overlooked skill with real impact: etiquette! Whether at a formal dinner or casual event, I saw how simple things like knowing how to navigate your place setting, or how to start a conversation could instantly boost confidence!
The moment it clicked…
"That’s when I realized: etiquette isn’t about being fancy, it’s about feeling at ease so you can be fully present and enjoy the moment"
Etiquette doesn’t have to be intimidating, and
with a bit of practice it can become second-nature.
And now, after years of teaching etiquette, I wanted to share what really works, including practical tools and timeless tips that fit into real life.
It’s not about perfection, it’s about being prepared... and that etiquette is more than just manners - it’s your silent superpower!

"Everything I share comes from experience -
what I’ve taught, tested and seen work."
My promise is to always keep it practical, encouraging, and rooted in kindness.
I truly believe that etiquette is for everyone, and that small changes can have a big impact on how you show up, connect with others and experience the world around you.
Thank you for being here - I’m so glad our paths have crossed!

Q&A with Liisa
Where are you originally from?
I was born and raised in the beautiful county of Hertfordshire in the UK. It’s full of charming pubs, green spaces, and an incredible amount of Roman history and ruins!
Favourite TV show?
I rarely sit still long enough to watch a full show - but one of my all-time favourites is Downton Abbey. I’m tempted to start from the beginning again! I loved watching it with a big pot of tea, some chocolate biscuits… and absolutely no interruptions.
Coffee or tea?
A cappuccino to start the day, English breakfast tea in the afternoon, and chamomile or ginger tea in the evening. It’s a full rotation!
Early bird or night owl?
Honestly, both! After years of working early mornings in television, I can still wake up before the sun - but I’m also known to stay up late. FOMO? Maybe just a bit.
Sweet tooth or salty cravings?
Sweet, always! Ice cream, chocolate, and a little dessert (or pudding, as we say in the UK) after dinner is my idea of happiness.
What’s your signature sip?
A gin and tonic is my go-to…but a sweet Riesling (or even a piña colada!) can be very tempting!
What's your feel-good food?
Sushi! There’s a local spot I’ve been ordering from for over 15 years - same order every time. It’s become a running joke with the owners at this point! Thin crust pizza is a close second. And of course, a proper Sunday roast dinner never goes amiss!
How do you stay active?
I’ve always been athletic - growing up, I swam competitively, which taught me discipline and the joy of movement early on. I now stay active in ways that feel social and fun: Scottish country dancing (which is a workout in disguise!). I play in a weekly golf league, tennis, as well as long walks/hikes and bike rides. It keeps me energized and clear-headed!
What’s my dream vacation destination?
Greece is at the top of my list right now - those views, the history, and the food! I’m also curious to try a cruise… there’s something exciting about waking up in a new place each day that might be fun!
